Commercially viable projects usually start around 5,000 m² for high-value crops such as tomato, pepper or berries, and around 10,000 m² for leafy greens where margins per square metre are lower. Below that scale, fixed costs for climate control, packing and labour are difficult to absorb.
Yes. Many clients have already shortlisted or contracted a manufacturer. We review the offered specification against your climate and crop, identify gaps or risks, and coordinate the engineering interfaces without replacing your supplier relationship.
Planning and specification typically take 4 to 8 weeks, supplier selection and contracting 4 to 6 weeks, manufacturing and shipping 8 to 16 weeks, and installation 8 to 20 weeks depending on area and structure type. Most projects run 6 to 12 months from decision to first planting.
